‘Perfectly Purposed’ was created to be a safe space not only for my own thoughts but for anyone struggling with self-love, anxiety, depression, relationships, religion you name it we are going to talk about it!
This blog will serve as a community, a journal, and informational place with opinions, tips and tools to overcome mental illnesses.
What is The Eve Effect?
The Eve Effect LLC is a biblical clothing brand with the mission to spread the gospel, cleanse, encourage and restore faith one garment at a time, but ‘The Eve Effect’ is an attitude. It’s about knowing who we are regardless of our past and knowing what we bring to the table.
Eve, the first woman in the bible brought sin in to the world, but you know what else she did? She created all of us. God could have killed her a created a new woman to do the task, maybe a woman who would have obeyed his request to eat of any tree except the tree of life, but he let her live because and carry out the purpose she was put on Earth do to and he does the same for all of us.
Do you know what your purpose is? Do you know what you have to offer the people in your life? If the answer is no, I encourage you to spend time with God because no one else can tell you what you were put here to do expect the ONE that created you.
It took me about 3 years to understand why God planted this phrase in my head, why he wanted me to start this business and why it had to be me. I don’t know how long it will take you, probably not as long if you don’t try to run from God like I did. But when God gives you those answers, your life will change!
You will too, get that feeling, that “you know, that you know!” (and if you know, you know what I’m talking about!)
That glow, that growth, that faith, that confidence, that ambition, that courage, that pep in your step, that grind… THAT is The Eve Effect!
Why “Perfectly Purposed”?
One day I was driving in my car thinking of ways I could build a community for people like me who really, and I mean REALLY struggle mentally. Even though I have come to know God and love Him as He loves me, it’s an everyday battle to defeat the negative thoughts, memories and lies that flood my head daily. I needed an outlet not only for myself but as a way to help someone else even if it’s just one person. I thought of vlogging or doing motivational reels like the ones you see on TikTok and Reels and honestly it would have reached more people, but I’m still working on coming out of my shell. I’ve always been better at writing verses speaking, I have even dabbled in poetry which one day I might share with you all.
So, I decided, I was going to add a blog to my site. I thought “imperfect on purpose” but then The Holy Spirit revealed to me that we ARE perfect, because we were made in the image of a perfect God and He does not make mistakes, Sure, we make bad decisions, and our ways are questionable but WE ourselves are perfect beings and were created to fulfil a purpose just the way we are.
Who is Eve?
My name is Evelyn aka Eve I have battled depression, anxiety, low-self-esteem and self-worth since adolescence, and I am unashamed to say that God healed me but no matter what you believe in, you are welcome here.
